Built for construction, logging, or rock and quarry drive-axle applications, the LY053 is a tough drive-axle radial for on-and-off road use. Designed to deliver great mileage in operations that require exceptional traction and resistance, the tire features a wide tread footprint with an extra-deep 31/32″ tread depth. Its aggressive lug design incorporates large blocks at the tread center to provide excellent traction and braking on rough roads. A thick undertread protects against cutting and chipping, while a steel-cord top belt fights penetration damage while minimizing heat generation.
